Brand New Limousine Drunk Driving
collection of videos taken off of youtube and put to Brand New’s song “Limousine” in hopes to further touch peoples lives and raise awareness of drunk driving. I did not make these videos,I just put them together, and I thought it made a further valid point along with the music.

yea but i can understand what people are saying, while decapitation is the term we’d use… it doesnt need to be used. a little girl died and that should be enough… the explicitness is unnecessary and desensitizing almost. it makes it more shock value news than… real.. caring news i guess…

decapitation is the word one uses to describe the removal of ones head. There’s nothing insensitive about that, it’s just the truth. And the driver didn’t survive, it clearly said that. It also clearly stated that Katie was strapped into her seat asleep. so yea.

Its a sad story for sure, a little distasteful that they use the word ‘decapitation’, i appreciate that it may of happened but come on give her some respect. It seems a bit sensationalist.
Good to spread awareness, and the song does it in a very tasteful way, though the news reports im not so sure are as caring and heart felt as they claim. Reminds me when a friend died in a small plane crash, just him and pilot, and the news read ‘ tragedy; local boy found charred’. Just sickened me.

And for teh record, there were 2 limousines. Katie was the only one in the limo i believe. The rest of her family was in the one following her.

Im going to tell this story in my highschool health class- this story is too powerful to let people forget- i dont think this video mentions the part about what happened to the mother right after the crash, but its the most fucked up thing Ive ever heard- i wrote a report and im going to show this video too
other people should do the same, it can save lives

Although this debate has been over since forever, I never said drunk driving would end if alcohol was banned. Of course some idiot out there would continue to do it. But that doesn’t mean we should provide a legal avenue for it. And as I said before cars are a useful tool to help people get from place to place. Alcohol on the other hand is just an elixer of death not just on the highways but in life in general. I have seen to many lives destroyed by this stuff. It has no purpose.

I agree with Watcher3223, if you want to ban alcohol, might as well ban vehicles. My mom and I are were in a really bad car accident , by people who were SOBER, no drugs no alcohol nothing. The doctor was shocked my mom survived. Alcohol, drugs…etc…dont kill people, stupid people do. Not all accidents are caused by drugs and alcohol. no matter if it is banned, i gurantee you drunk driving will still happen, because people will still get it like they get drugs. It’ll still happen.
