Stolen Car Recovered Due to DUI Checkpoint
Fresno Police recovered a stolen car after the driver got away from officers at a DUI checkpoint. It happened around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday morning when the driver sped away from the checkpoint at McKinley and First Street and then abandoned the car near Shields and Thorne. Police searched for the driver but were unable to find him.

Sonoma DUI Task Force Nets 144 Arrests (FOX 11 Reno)

SONOMA, Calif. — Authorities arrested 144 people in Sonoma County in the first 10 days of the county’s winter holiday DUI enforcement campaign. As of Monday morning, the Avoid the 13 DUI Task Force had arrested 121 people for driving under the influence and 23 others for outstanding DUI warrants.

What happens to my insurance after a dui and an accident?

My friend has no driver’s license and I let him drive my car and he got into a minor accident. I also have a DUI on my record, what is going to happen to my insurance? Can they drop me and if so will I have trouble getting insurance elswhere?
