No DUI arrests are made at a checkpoint in Lompoc Wednesday night. Officers say some 300 vehicles passed through the checkpoint set up in the 600 block of N. O St. More than 100 people were evaluated for DUI, but none were over the legal limit. One person was arrested for driving without a license. Another person was arrested for possessing narcotics. Wells family reacts to DUI charges dropped
The family of 30-year-old Eric Wells, the man who was killed in a crash involving IMPD Officer David Bisard, said they are angry to learn the DUI charges against the cop will be dropped.
