JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Police are looking for a man who stole a $48,000 diamond ring at a St. Johns Town Center jewelry store. Store employees said the man went into Levy Jewelers telling the clerk he was looking for something for his girlfriend.

Youth center guard charged in ‘08 fatal crash
A guard at the Illinois Youth Center in St. Charles was charged today with aggravated DUI and reckless homicide in connection with a 2008 head-on collision that killed a St. Charles man. A Kane County grand jury indicted Reginald Hearon, 50, of Plano for the accident, which took place Oct. 2, 2008, around 5:30 a.m. on Fabyan Parkway west of Batavia.
