Former deputy arrested on suspicion of second DUI
HIDDEN VALLEY LAKE — Former Lake County Sheriff Deputy Bryan Troy Smith, 33, of Hidden Valley Lake was arrested Thursday for his second driving under the influence offense in the past two months.

Deputy DA charged with DUI
A Kern County deputy district attorney who has prosecuted drunken driving cases is now charged in one. Richard Tae Choi, 29, a prosecutor for more than a year, is scheduled to be arraigned Feb. 19 on the misdemeanor charge.
