A female officer is in stable condition after being shot while helping another officer on a traffic stop.Just after 10:30 p.m. near N.W. 39th and Miller, the officer was assisting an Oklahoma County Deputy on a DUI traffic stop.

Two persons were arrested during a DUI/driver’s license checkpoint on July 30 in Fontana, according to the Fontana Police Department. The checkpoint took place between 6 p.m. and 1:30 a.m. at Cherry Avenue and Miller Avenue in northwestern Fontana.
