While the number of DUI arrests in 2009 significantly increased in Arizona from the previous year, Graham County bucked the trend and had fewer DUI arrests over the New Year’s holiday than last year.

SONOMA, Calif. — Authorities arrested 144 people in Sonoma County in the first 10 days of the county’s winter holiday DUI enforcement campaign. As of Monday morning, the Avoid the 13 DUI Task Force had arrested 121 people for driving under the influence and 23 others for outstanding DUI warrants.
