Fontana Police Department will be conducting DUI/driver’s license checkpoint on Saturday, Jan. 1
A person is arrested during a DUI checkpoint which took place in Fontana during the New Year’s holiday season in January of 2010. The Fontana P.D. will be conducting a DUI/driver’s license checkpoint on Saturday, Jan. 1, 2011.

The police department checked 958 vehicles at checkpoints on Las Positas Road, Foothill Road. Bath Street and San Andreas Street.

A DUI/driver’s license checkpoint will be held in Fontana on Monday night, Aug. 30. The checkpoint will be coordinated by the Fontana Police Department as part of the “Avoid the 25″ program run by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
