WENATCHEE — Sixty-six motorists were arrested for DUI in Chelan, Douglas and Okanogan counties Aug. 12 through Monday, the Washington State Patrol reports. The arrests were made during a statewide enforcement campaign called Drive Hammered, Get Nailed. It was the largest DUI enforcement campaign in the state’s history, with 172 agencies participating, the State Patrol reports.

29 motorists arrested for DUI
During the week of Jan. 11-17, Big Island police arrested 29 motorists for drunken driving. Three of the drivers were involved in traffic crashes. Two were under the age of 21.
