Seven years late, man receives DUI sentence, awaits deportation
POCATELLO — A man who absconded in 2003 before he could be sentenced for felony driving under the influence finally had the sentence imposed Monday and will spend time in the local jail until he can be deported to Mexico.

HPD checkpoint results in seven arrests
A DUI checkpoint on the 1000 block of Vine netted seven arrests Saturday night, according to Hays Police Lt. Don Scheibler. Arrests included two DUIs, one open container and one possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Officers also gave 15 warnings for seat belt violations.

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. — The Cambria County Drug Task Force held a DUI checkpoint Friday night, made seven arrests and gave out over a dozen traffic citations. The task force consists of 69 officers from all over Cambria County who team up for many different proactive operations including checkpoints.
