Loitering … David Chenoweth, 37, and Peter Sweeney, 37, both of the 100 block of North Second Street, North Wales, will be being cited for loitering and prowling at night and defiant trespass in connection with a March 28 incident in Oreland, according to Springfield police.

The Northern Delaware County DUI Taskforce will be conducting a DUI checkpoint during the weekend of Saturday, Oct. 30 within Newtown Township. The Northern Delaware County DUI Taskforce is comprised of six municipalities – Haverford, Marple, Newtown, Radnor, Springfield and Upper Darby townships.

Lower Makefield Township Police Report
DUI ARREST – Police on patrol at Edgewood and Oxford Valley roads observed a vehicle being operated in an erratic manner. The vehicle was stopped and further investigation led to the arrest of the 57-year-old male driver for driving under the influence. The arrest was reported April 21 at 12:10 a.m.

Hit-and-run results in DUI arrest in Upper Allen Township
Police say Scott Wiggins, 25, of Mechanicsburg, was under the influence of alcohol around 1:40 a.m. Saturday when his vehicle struck several road signs on South Market Street in Upper Allen Twp. before being stopped by police in Simpson Park.
